Welcome to the Virginia Independent Paranormal Society (ViPs)!
ViPs is based in the Shenandoah Valley, in Virginia. Our group prides itself on its professional, scientific research, as well as its innovative techniques to investigating paranormal experiences.
ViPs was formed in 1996, by its founders, Rusty Edmondson, Sharon, his wife, and Wade Ross. Their goal is to help concerned people understand the paranormal or unexplained experiences, in their homes, businesses or on other properties.
ViPS services are available to you, free of charge. Please feel free to contact us for information or to set up an investigation.
ViPS has been featured in many national television projects, as well as quoted in several paranormal books. Rusty, ViPS founder, has played a part in a PBS documentary called “Things That Go Bump in the Valley,” the Travel Channel’s “Haunted Road Trips,” Sci Fi Channel’s “Most Haunted Places,” History Channel’s “Haunted Battlefields,” as well as several other independent films. L.B. Taylor, author of, “Ghosts in Virginia,” wrote about ViPS and Rusty’s adventures and experiences. Also Rusty has been quoted by Nannette Morrison, in several of her paranormal books.
ViPS mission is to gather as much information, by investigation and research, about the paranormal, to help aid concerned and/or interested people understand the paranormal. Using a skeptical approach, ViPs will investigate an establishment to prove or disprove a haunt.
